The Video Game Streaming Industry

     A profession that is fueling the lives of many young gamers today is the Twitch.Tv streaming website. It is a website where you can set up a channel for yourself similar to Youtube and play video games which allow people to watch you play in real time. Weird concept right? Well it is a booming website and has many people making quite a bit of money.
     Lets talk more about the logistics of how the money is actually made. When you create a channel people get the option to either follow your channel, which is free and will give them a notification whenever you are online and start playing a game. The other option is to subscribe, which will cost a certain amount of money determined by yourself, usually about 2.99. When you subscribe you pay that fee once a month to help fund the players channel. You also have the option to donate a certain amount of money to the player determined by the person watching. The person playing the game also can play an assortment of ads that the people watching will then watch and you earn a certain amount of money per add multiplied by the number of viewers watching which is the most efficient away of making the money.
     So basically, you get people to watch you, people donate from their good will, you play adds to earn money form the company whose adds they are. The more people watching, the more money you make.
